The edge AI computer also offers a host of onboard components to connect easily to devices and sensors in the field. It further uses the latest AI inference technology at the edge to help you gain valuable insights and refine operational processes.
The edge AI fanless box delivers up to 22.5 TOPS of AI computing power using the latest Intel NPU, ensuring low power consumption while enhancing performance. The Arrow Lake microarchitecture is also backward compatible with Meteor Lake designs to minimize disruptions while implementing change. Additionally, the NDiS B363’s dedicated AI engine offers double the performance of the previous-generation Xe GPU for better object recognition – necessary for recycling and smart retail uses.
By linking AI cameras to USB 3.2 ports, users can achieve real-time monitoring and motion detection. To accommodate many industrial applications that still rely on legacy sensors, the NDiS B363 provides an RS232/422/485 interface, integrating serial communication with AI technology. Furthermore, the edge AI fanless box supports Wi-Fi 7 and BT 5.4 for multi-connectivity options. With a wide operating temperature range of 0 to 60°C, the NDiS B363 is ideally suited for semi-outdoor applications, such as recycling and smart retail.
The NDiS B363 effectively combines the newest AI technology with legacy devices to fulfill the requirements of various environments. For instance, in a recycling machine scenario, when a user deposits an object into the receptacle, the NDiS B363 uses AI cameras and inference technology to identify the object. It then employs PLCs to automate the separation of objects into the correct recycling containers. The edge AI fanless box analyzes this data at the edge, generating insights that further optimize recycling processes.
